I was so dispirited about when my camera was busted that I wasn’t even staying caught up on other folks’ flickr pics. Lot’s to catch up on. Here’s some favorites so far:

Also: How exciting is this?! I love that kind of news story. For me it just re-confirms how ancient, basic, and human the impulse to make jewelry is.

Also on the visual feast front: tumblogs have a great archive feature that allows you to view all entries at once in a sort of calendar format. Super fun way to get an overview of what’s attracting your attention.

One a week update:

  • Trip to the grocery store:check
  • brainstorming: check
  • narrowing down of material choices: check

I have friday off my job, so most of the physical work will get done then. Down to the wire, just like Project Runway!
