One-a-Week

Here is the beginning of the project over at Imogene

Over at Imogene, Annie decided to set herself a ‘one-a-week’ challenge. It’s a Project Runway-like challenge to create a piece of jewelry in a limited time from certain materials and/or with a specific them or inspiration.

Here is a little bit about why I started the project and how it fits into the purpose behind this blog.

Other participants:

A chronological compendium of all One-a-Week posts here.

A collection of week-by-week photos with notes over at Flickr.

Week One photoset and wrap-up. Grocery store challenge.

Weeks Two photoset and all the One-a-Week Two posts and wrap-up. Photo inspiration challenge.

Week Three photoset and all the One-a-Week Three posts and wrap-up. Grow/Decay theme challenge.

Week Four photoset and all the One-a-Week Four posts and wrap-up. Surplus/junk/dollar store challenge.

Week Five photoset and all the One-a-Week Five posts and wrap-up. NYT muse challenge.

Week Six photoset and all the One-a-Week Six posts and wrap-up is here. Garden Party challenge.

I LOVE this idea! It reminds me of the good old days in art school. Plus it’s a great thing to get yourself out of the rut of just filling orders. I might just have to follow along all on my own!
